In his early years John Asht persued a career in photo-journalism and the making of documentary films.
After studying ethnology and the history of world religions he sailed into calmer waters and since then has been using his insights to write surrealistic and historical fantasy novels.
After intensive research he wrote the complex story using a lot of fantasy. „Maag Mell, the Realm of Peace" is the belletristic epic trilogy debut of the author in his prime. The loner and lover of nature lives in the Franconian Mountains and is the father of two sons.
